The mintmaster's initials I G S appear in the lower exergue beneath the shield. The circular legend SAC ROM IMP ARCHIM ET ELECT, with the date 1733, runs around the periphery separated by pellets, declaring Augustus II's dignity as Archchamberlain and Elector of the Holy Roman Empire. The milled border is well defined, consistent with the high technical standard of the Dresden Mint. |
