Obverse description Central field displays the keys of Saint Peter arranged in saltire, surmounted by the papal tiara, rendered in a crude but recognizable late-medieval style characteristic of small hammered coinage. Dotted beads form a circular border around the design, partially interrupted by the irregular flan edge. Abbreviated Gothic or uncial lettering appears in the surrounding legend, though partially illegible due to weak strike and worn surfaces. The overall composition reflects the ecclesiastical iconography common to central Italian minor coinage of the late fifteenth century.
