| Opis rewersu | Central field features a large interlaced monogram of Federico da Montefeltro, composed of Gothic letterforms and contained within an inner beaded circle. The monogram, constructed around the letters F and E, is boldly struck and occupies the majority of the inner field. The surrounding legend, in uncial Latin script, reads FEDERICVS CO, an abbreviation for Federicus Comes (Count Frederick), interrupted and flanked by pellet stops. The design is typical of fifteenth-century Italian signorial coinage, with the personal cipher of the ruler serving as the principal reverse type. |
