Obverse description Bust of Archduke Ferdinand I facing left, depicted in profile wearing an ornate crown and armored collar with chain mail visible at the shoulder. The hair falls in long, stylized locks beneath the crown, rendered in the characteristic early Renaissance manner of the Hall Mint. A beaded inner circle frames the portrait, with the Latin legend commencing at the top and reading clockwise around the full circumference of the coin. The engraving reflects the early sixteenth-century Germanic portrait style, conveying regal authority through the combination of crown, armor, and formal profile presentation.
