Obverse description Facing bust of St. Felix rendered in a schematic, archaic style within a circular border, the saint's broad face depicted with stylized features including large eyes, a prominent nose, and a wide jaw. The effigy is enclosed by a plain inner ring set against the characteristic four-cusped ('Vierzipfliger') flan. The legend TVREGVM appears around the periphery, identifying the Zurich mint. The crude but expressive die work is typical of 13th-century Swiss ecclesiastical bracteate-influenced pfennig coinage.
