Obverse description Full-length frontal effigy of a bishop in pontifical vestments, rendered in low relief in the crude Romanesque style typical of late 12th-century Austrian bracteate-influenced pfennigs. The figure holds a crozier and raises the right hand in benediction. A circular legend surrounds the central image, though the strike is weak and the lettering largely illegible on most surviving specimens.

Reverse description Schematic representation of a church facade in low relief, featuring a central portal flanked by two towers or columns with triangular pediment, enclosed within a double beaded border. The architectural rendering is highly stylised in the Romanesque tradition, with a dotted or beaded inner circle framing the design. The reverse image is incuse on bracteate-style specimens, as is consistent with thin hammered pfennigs of this issue.
