Obverse description Frontal facing bust of the Duke in regal attire, depicted holding two diagonal flags or standards whose tips meet above his head in a symmetrical arrangement. The effigy is rendered in the flat, stylized manner characteristic of medieval Austrian hammered coinage. A circular legend in Latin script is contained between two concentric linear borders enclosing the central device.
