| Obverse description | Frontal standing figure of a bishop depicted in full ecclesiastical vestments, holding a cross-staff (crozier) in his left hand while raising his right hand in a gesture of benediction. The effigy is rendered in the flat, stylized manner characteristic of medieval Austrian hammered coinage. A circular inscription in Latin appears in the field between two concentric beaded or linear circles, framing the central design. |
