Reverse description The reverse, struck on the same irregular flan, shows a ghosted incuse impression of the obverse design as is typical of thin hammered silver pfennigs of the Friesach type, with the architectural and cross motifs appearing in weak negative relief. A mitre-like central architectural element is discernible at the centre, surrounded by subsidiary cross and tower forms, all enclosed within a faint beaded border. The surface bears natural patination and die wear consistent with early 13th-century circulation coinage from the Duchy of Carinthia. No distinct reverse legend is present.
