| Obverse description | Within a double beaded circle, a crenellated tower rises from a three-peaked hill at center. To the left of the tower stands a backward-looking eagle, while to the right appears a seven-pointed star. A small crooked cross is positioned above the star. The overall composition reflects the Friesach bracteate tradition, with flat hammered relief typical of mid-13th century Austrian regional coinage. |
