| 裏面の説明 |
Depiction of a stylized architectural facade representing a city gate or fortified structure, rendered in the Romanesque tradition characteristic of Friesach pfennigs. Three towers or turrets are visible, with the central tower surmounted by a cross or finial and flanked by two slightly lower side towers, each with arched openings indicated by incuse lines. Between and below the towers appears a schematic frontal face or mask, a common device on Friesach-type bracteate-influenced pfennigs. The entire composition is enclosed within a plain inner circle or beaded border, with the irregular hammered flan showing typical medieval die-striking characteristics. |
