| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse presents the same architectural tower or castle motif as seen on the obverse, characteristic of a uniface or near-uniface hammered pfennig of this period where the design strikes through to create a mirror impression. The incuse rendering shows the crenellated parapet and central rounded finial, with the surrounding field exhibiting the typical flat, plain surface of a thin hammered silver coin. The irregular flan edge and uneven strike are consistent with hand-hammered production of the Carinthian mint in the mid-13th century. |
