| Obverse description | A large crenellated tower depicted centrally in the field, flanked by the initials R and S in the left and right fields respectively, denoting the issuing authority. A small star appears below the base of the tower. The entire central design is enclosed within a double linear circle, characteristic of the Friesach pfennig tradition. The design is executed in the flat, stylized manner typical of late 13th-century Austrian hammered bracteate-influenced coinage. |
