| Obverse description | Facing crowned royal effigy rendered in high relief within a plain inner circle, the crowned head shown frontally with schematic facial features typical of late 13th-century Swiss bracteat work. Two six-pointed stars flank the bust in the field to left and right. The design is boldly struck with characteristic medieval stylisation, the flan exhibiting four pinched indentations at the cardinal points of the irregular round planchet. No legend present. |
