Reverse description A heraldic eagle displayed in low relief, typical of the imperial and episcopal iconographic tradition employed on Friesach-type pfennigs of the Archbishopric of Salzburg. The figure is rendered in a bold, stylised manner consistent with the hammered coinage of the late 13th to early 14th century. The irregular flan shows typical characteristics of medieval hand-struck silver coinage. No legend or inscription is present.
