Obverse description A seated bishop faces forward, his right hand resting on his hip while his left hand holds a lily scepter upright. The figure is rendered in the Romanesque style characteristic of early 13th-century episcopal coinage. Two concentric circular lines frame the central effigy, with a Latin legend distributed between them around the periphery of the coin.
