The effigy is rendered in the flat, linear style characteristic of early 13th-century Austrian bracteate-influenced coinage. A two-line circular legend in Latin script frames the design in the outer border, though the inscription is partially illegible on most known specimens. |

Two concentric circular lines define the inner and outer border of the design field. The style is consistent with early 13th-century South German hammered silver pfennigs of the Salzburg archiepiscopal series. |
