Obverse description Central field occupied by a divided heraldic shield surmounted by a bishop's mitre; the dexter half displays a rampant lion to the left, and the sinister half bears a rampant lion to the right, representing the arms of the Bishopric of Chur. The entire design is enclosed within a border of large raised pellets. The flan exhibits the characteristic irregular shape typical of hammered coinage of the period. No legend is present; the design relies entirely on the heraldic imagery.
Obverse script Latin

Reverse description The reverse is uniface or bears no distinct design, consistent with small-denomination hammered Pfennig coinage of the late sixteenth century. The surface shows the characteristic flatness and flan irregularity of struck billon issues from the Bishopric of Chur. No legend, devices, or subsidiary marks are present.
