| Obverse description | Facing crowned effigy of the ruler rendered in a schematic, medieval style, depicted from the shoulders upward with curling hair visible to either side of the face. A plain horizontal band forms the crown, surmounted by a triangular or pointed element above. The portrait is set within a raised outer border or bulge, characteristic of Austrian bracteate-influenced pfennig coinage of the mid-thirteenth century. The fields are plain and devoid of legend. The die is irregular in shape, consistent with hand-hammered production. |

| Reverse description | Facing bust of the ruler depicted beneath a three-arched architectural canopy, rendered in a flat, linear medieval style typical of Austrian pfennig coinage of the thirteenth century. The figure holds a lily-topped sceptre in the right hand and a cross-staff in the left, serving as regalia symbolizing ducal authority. The crowned head is shown frontally, with the three-arch framing providing a structural device common to contemporaneous Austrian and Styrian bracteate-related issues. The fields are plain with no legend or additional inscription. |
