Obverse description Bracteate-style hammered silver pfennig struck with a single obverse die, producing a mirror impression on the reverse. The central design features an architectural motif, likely a stylized tower or gate surmounted by a cross or trefoil finial, flanked by columnar elements. A beaded inner circle encloses the main device, itself surrounded by a plain outer border following the irregular flan edge. Small pellets or globular ornaments appear in the lower field, characteristic of late 12th-century Bamberg episcopal coinage. The design reflects the Romanesque artistic conventions typical of German ecclesiastical mints of the period.
