Reverse description As a bracteate, the reverse presents the incuse mirror image of the obverse design, showing the negative impression of the central architectural or throne motif with flanking figures. The relief appears as a shallow incuse depression typical of bracteate coinage, with a beaded inner border visible. Two standing figures with globular heads flank a central enthroned or elevated figure surmounted by a cross, the entire composition resting on an arcaded base with five circular arches, consistent with episcopal iconography of the Bamberg mint in the late Hohenstaufen period.
