Obverse description Bust of an angel facing three-quarters, rising above a triangular gable or architectural pediment; a rosette or pellet ornament appears below the gable. Two rosettes or stars flank the angel's head in the field, adding symmetrical decoration to the composition. The design is rendered in low relief in the characteristic flat, stylized manner of late medieval Austrian hammered bracteate-style pfennigs.
