Obverse description Armored rider advancing to the left, brandishing a sword held in the left hand; the figure is enclosed within an inner circle of lines surrounded by an outer beaded (pearl) border. The design is typical of the feudal Reitertypus common to Austrian and Carinthian bracteate-influenced pfennigs of the late 13th to early 14th century.
