Obverse description Central field features a facing helmeted head rendered in a stylized, archaic manner characteristic of late 13th- to early 14th-century Carinthian bracteate-style pfennigs. The helmet is depicted with a prominent crest, flanked on either side by decorative foliate or wing-like elements. The face is rendered schematically with punched or pelleted features. The whole design is enclosed within a raised inner circle or beaded border, with the irregular flan exhibiting typical die-struck characteristics of medieval hammered coinage. No legible legend is present on this side.
