Faint traces of a leaf-like or foliate decorative outline with beaded border are discernible within the incuse field, consistent with the characteristic reverse treatment of Carinthian pfennigs of this type. The surface is uneven with natural flan irregularities and die wear typical of hand-struck medieval coinage. |
