| Beschrijving keerzijde | An eagle displayed in the central field, serving as the principal heraldic device of the reverse. The eagle is surrounded by a writing area between two concentric circles of dots, within which rosettes, rings, and occasional letters are distributed at intervals around the periphery. The overall composition follows the conventional layout of Carinthian regional Pfennigs of the late 13th century, with the decorative elements filling the spaces between the bead borders. The die workmanship is characteristic of the mint at St. Veit an der Glan, the principal mint of Carinthia during this period. |
