Obverse description Enthroned secular ruler depicted in full frontal view, seated on a bench-type throne; the right hand raises a sword and the left hand bears a banner-lance with pennant. The effigy is enclosed within a ringed border set between two concentric circles of pellets, forming a characteristic Romanesque double-beaded frame typical of 12th-century Austrian bracteate-influenced pfennigs.

Reverse description A kneeling angel in profile facing right, rendered in the Romanesque style, presenting or offering a small child or soul held before him in an attitude of intercession or presentation. The central design is framed by an open horseshoe-form border (resembling the Greek letter Ω) contained between an inner beaded circle and an outer plain line circle, a composition characteristic of ecclesiastical imagery on contemporary Austrian pfennigs.
