背面描述	An angel is depicted standing in left profile with the head turned to face the viewer frontally, rendered in the hieratic style typical of Romanesque coinage. The angel holds a double crosshair staff in the left hand. Annulets are scattered in the field on either side of the figure. The entire design is enclosed by an outer beaded circle. The bold, flat relief and symbolic iconography are consistent with early twelfth-century Austrian Pfennig coinage under Margrave Leopold III.

Coins struck under his authority in this decade reflect a mint operating with some consistency rather than wartime disruption. The CNA B2a classification places this among the earliest systematically catalogued Austrian bracteate-influenced pfennigs.
