| Reverse description | Incuse mirror image of the obverse, characteristic of the thin hammered bracteate-style pfennig technique employed in 13th-century Austrian coinage. The reverse shows the incuse impression of the helmeted ducal bust with sword, set within a recessed inner circle. A six-pointed star ornament is visible in the left field, with faint traces of the incuse legend around the periphery. The surface exhibits the typical irregular flan and variable relief associated with hand-hammered medieval coinage. |
