Obverse description Within a beaded inner circle, an eagle displayed facing right, rendered in the crude bracteate-influenced style typical of Austrian medieval pfennigs. The space between the inner and outer beaded border is adorned with a series of semicircles, each containing a half rosette, creating a decorative annular frame characteristic of the Vienna mint's output under Friedrich II der Streitbare.
