Additional information

Frederick III (later Frederick the Fair) shared rule over Austria with his brothers following the death of Rudolf III in 1307, a contested succession that kept the duchy in near-constant internal tension throughout this period. Coins struck under the joint Habsburgs were often issued without distinguishing individual authority, making precise attribution within the 1306–1314 window genuinely difficult. CNA B207 represents one of the more reliably catalogued of these bracteate-influenced pfennig types from the Austrian minting tradition of the era.
