Obverse description Helmeted bust of Count Egino II facing left, depicted in a stylized, high-relief manner characteristic of medieval German bracteate coinage. The helmeted head is rendered in a bold, simplified style with a rounded great helm, typical of late 13th-century heraldic representations. The initials F and R flank the bust in the field to either side, serving as an abbreviation for Freiburg. The entire design is enclosed within a plain inner circle, set against a thin, irregular flan.
Obverse script Latin

Reverse description Blank, as is characteristic of bracteate coinage, where the single-sided striking technique results in a mirror-image incuse impression on the reverse with no intentional design or inscription.
