| Obverse description | Frontal bust of a bishop in high relief, centrally positioned within a beaded inner circle, flanked on either side by a large six-pointed star in the field. The bishop's mitre and vestments are rendered in a stylized Romanesque manner characteristic of early 13th-century Austrian bracteate-influenced coinage. The overall composition is contained within an irregular flan typical of hand-hammered medieval silver. |
