| Obverse description | Central shield bearing the civic arms of Chur — a rampant ibex — enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The capital letter 'V' appears above the shield, with the initials 'C' and 'R' flanking the lower portion of the escutcheon, together forming the abbreviated legend CVR (Curia Raetorum). The design is rendered in a simple, archaic style consistent with small hammered civic coinage of the late seventeenth century. |
