| Obverse description | Frontal bust of the Patriarch in episcopal vestments, wearing a mitre surmounted by a patriarchal cross, flanked by two smaller figures or attendants; the effigy is rendered in a flat, archaic Romanesque style characteristic of early 13th-century Austrian bracteate-influenced coinage. The central figure appears bearded, with stylized drapery folds indicated below the bust. The field is unadorned and no legend is present. |

| Reverse description | Frontal facing bust of the Patriarch crowned with a mitre bearing a prominent cross patee at its apex and flanked by two curved ornamental horns; the face is rendered in bold relief with a short beard, and a rosette or brooch ornament appears at the chest. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle bordered by a plain rim, with the hammered flan showing characteristic irregular edges. The reverse is anepigraphic, displaying no legend, consistent with Aquileian pfennig coinage of the early 13th century. |
