| Obverse description | Central field depicts a seated frontal figure, likely the Patriarch enthroned, flanked by two standing attendant figures rendered in crude high relief characteristic of early 13th-century Alpine ecclesiastical coinage. The composition is enclosed within a beaded or rope-like inner circle, with a partially legible Latin legend running along the outer margin of the irregularly shaped flan. The figurative style is schematic and hieratic, consistent with Romanesque die-cutting conventions of the Aquileian mint workshop. The flan shows typical hammered irregularities and surface wear, with a small central hole visible. |
