| Obverse description | Enthroned frontal figure of the duke, depicted in high relief in the Romanesque style, wearing robes with visible drapery folds. The figure is seated within a beaded or cable inner border, holding what appears to be a sceptre or sword. A partial Latin legend surrounds the design in the outer field, partially off-flan due to the irregular hammered planchet. The overall style is characteristic of early 13th-century Austrian feudal coinage. |
