Reverse description A large ornate cross pattée or wheel-cross motif occupies the central field, composed of multiple arms with pellets or annulets at the intersections, all enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The cross design displays a bold, decorative quality typical of Carinthian bracteate-influenced pfennig coinage of the early medieval period. A partial Latin legend is visible in the outer field, largely off-flan. The flat hammered silver flan exhibits the characteristic irregular shape of hand-struck medieval coinage.
