Reverse description An armored knight on horseback depicted in right profile, rendered in the bold, stylized manner characteristic of early 13th-century Austrian bracteate-influenced coinage. The rider is shown in full military attire, raising a sword or lance, seated upon a galloping steed with schematically rendered legs. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, itself set within a second beaded border near the coin's periphery. The die-work is vigorous though somewhat irregular, consistent with hammered provincial coinage of the Carinthian duchy. No legend appears on the reverse.
