Obverse description Full-length frontal effigy of the duke standing erect, flanked by two dots, grasping a sword in each hand with the blades projecting upward and downward into the inscription area; the head is surmounted by a three-pointed ducal coronet, with a dot positioned between the head and the left sword. The design is enclosed by two concentric circular lines framing a Latin legend around the periphery.
