| Obverse description | Full-length frontal effigy of a standing bishop rendered in medieval bracteate style, holding an open book in his left hand and a crozier in his right hand. The figure's feet extend downward into the legend area, a characteristic feature of Carinthian episcopal coinage of this period. A circular legend in Latin script appears in the outer field between two concentric circles, reading the bishop's name. |
