The rider is shown holding a lance or sword aloft, with heraldic attendant figures flanking the composition on either side. The design is executed in high relief with strongly stylized, angular forms typical of the Carinthian hammered coinage of the period. No legible legend is present; the irregular flan edge is characteristic of hand-cut hammered silver blanks. The overall die work reflects the provincial workshop tradition of the Heiligenkreuz mint under Duke Bernard II. |

CNA Cq58 places this issue within a typological sequence rather than a precise date, reflecting the genuine difficulty of attributing Carinthian bracteate-era pfennigs to specific years within long reigns.
