The flan is irregular and slightly scalloped at the edges, consistent with hand-cut hammered silver fabric. No legend or inscription is present; the design is entirely emblematic. The overall composition is stark and heraldic, reflecting the anonymous ecclesiastical coinage of the Bishopric of Basel. |
