| Obverse description | A crenellated tower in the centre of the field, flanked on either side by a fish in profile facing the tower, all rendered in bold relief typical of mid-14th-century Austrian bracteate-influenced pfennig coinage. The design is contained within an irregular raised border. No legend or inscription is present. The flan is characteristically thin and irregular, as expected of hammered medieval silver coinage. |
