Obverse description Agnus Dei (Lamb of God) depicted standing to left with head turned to right, a long cross rising behind its body. The device is contained within an inner beaded ring, itself enclosed by a border of pellets, lending the composition a characteristic Romanesque medallion format typical of Swiss ecclesiastical bracteate coinage of the early 13th century.
