Obverse description Draped bust of Honoré III, Prince of Monaco, facing right, with long flowing hair rendered in the baroque style. The effigy shows the prince in armour with a lace cravat visible at the truncation. The circular legend reads HONORATVS. III. D.G. PR. MONOECI, separated by pellets, running along the toothed border.

Reverse description Cruciform arrangement of four crowned and interlaced H monograms, each surmounted by a princely crown, with lozenge-shaped ornaments in the four angles between the arms of the cross. A small rosette or central ornament occupies the centre point of the cross. The date 1734 appears at the top of the field, with the pious legend AVXILIVM MEVM A DOMINO (My help is from the Lord) running around the periphery within a toothed border.
