| 背面描述 | The crowned coat of arms of Monaco occupies the central field, displaying the characteristic fusily shield of the Grimaldi family — a lozenge pattern of argent and gules arranged in diagonal rows. The shield is surmounted by a princely crown adorned with floral ornaments. A circular Latin legend surrounds the design, reading AVXIL. MEVM . A . DOM. 1707., a devotional motto meaning 'My help comes from the Lord,' with the date incorporated into the legend. A beaded inner border frames the reverse field. |

Antoine I ruled Monaco under French suzerainty during the War of the Spanish Succession, a conflict that disrupted trade routes throughout the western Mediterranean and squeezed the principality's already limited resources. Billon coinage — that debased silver-copper alloy — was the pragmatic answer to a shortage of fine metal, not an aesthetic choice. These pieces circulated hard in a small economy with few alternatives.
The two-year window of production reflected the emergency rather than a planned series. Gadoury MC90 survivors in any presentable state are genuinely scarce.
