Obverse description The obverse depicts a dynamic full-figure relief of Petrica Kerempuh, the legendary Croatian folk trickster, shown striding in traditional peasant costume and hat while playing a stringed instrument. A circular Latin legend runs around the field, partially interrupted by the central figure. The strike is irregular and the surface shows characteristics consistent with a trial or proof striking.
