| Obverse description | Facing crowned effigy of King Stephen in high relief, depicted frontally with a stylised face and prominent crown with fleurs or pellets. The king holds a sceptre to the right, with the design rendered in the bold, somewhat crude hammered style characteristic of the Anarchy period. Partial legend visible around the periphery of the irregular flan. |
