| Beschrijving keerzijde | A bold voided long cross divides the reverse field into four quarters, each quarter containing a six-pointed mullet (star) in low relief, a device characteristic of David II's second coinage halfpennies. The cross extends to the inner edge of the legend band, and the mullets are placed centrally within each quadrant. The surrounding circular legend reads VILLA EDINBVRGH, identifying Edinburgh as the mint town. The strike is typical of the period, with an irregular flan and some weakness at the periphery. |
